Ensemble ILÉA (Improvisation Libre Électro-Acoustique) is a flexible ensemble dedicated to improvisation in mixed music (acoustic and electronic instruments). It was founded in 2016 on the initiative of Kevin Gironnay. It explores new ways of guiding its improvisations and linger over creating music following the instantaneous instinct, accepting the unexpectedness. Its musical range spreads from acoustic tones to harsh noise music. Ensemble ILÉA strolls in between these two worlds, adopting and using their codes and sounds.
