Julien Guillamat’s works are out there! They have been performed in concert in Azet, Birmingham, Brussels, Cologne, Dijon, Edinburgh, Fabrezan, Lisbon, London, Moissac, Mons, Montpellier, Perpignan, Rethymno and Vienna…

Julien Guillamat has an impressive musical and academic background: cellist (baroque and modern), musicologist, doctor in electroacoustic music composition (under the direction of Jonty Harrison, University of Birmingham, UK), founder and director of Maison des arts sonores and of the the Klang! électroacoustique festival in Montpellier (France). He is the director and founder of the Europa Meta Orchestra. Today, professor of spatial interpretation (diffusion) and recording technics at the Conservatoire royal de Mons / Arts2, composer at the Opéra Orchestre national de Montpellier (OONM, France), regular guest of major creative institutions across Europe, he recently joined the Musiques & Recherches’ team in Ohain (Belgium).
