Vertiges has been performed in Montréal and Quebec City…

A cathartic expression of vertigo, the kind one can feel towards time. The sounds used in this composition include field recordings, vinyl samplings, analog and digital synthesis, prepared piano and the siren organ, an wind instrument invented by Jean-François Laporte.

Many thanks to Marie-Chantal Leclair, Martin Bédard, Clément Topping, Louis Dufort, and to Jean-François Laporte for his generosity and his wonderful instruments.
