Hoyong Lee (Seoul, South Korea) is a composer, sound artist and essayist. He received his MM in electroacoustic and instrumental music composition from Hanyang University. Prior to that, he studied Korean Languages & Literature with Culture Contents at the same institution (BA 2010).

His pieces are mostly based on the creative narrative structure blurring boundaries between noise, pitch and various tones of sounds under natural / electroacoustic environment. As an experimental sound storyteller, he has explored various ways of storytelling techniques on media platforms. His creative sonic works span acousmatic, electroacoustic, radio art, experimental soundscape and acoustic (classical & contemporary) music.

Currently he is working as a project manager in Lee Consulting which offers creative planning and interdisciplinary ideas encompassing humanities, arts, science and technology.
