Laurie Radford’s works are out there
His music has been performed and broadcast throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia. He is a frequent performer in his many mixed works (for instruments and computer).

Radford’s work has been presented at festivals including the rESOund Festival of Contemporary Music (Edmonton), Biennale MusMix (Montréal), Biennale Musique en scène (Lyon, France), Cantai Festival of Dance and Music (Taipei City, Taiwan), Miami New Music Festival (Florida), Música Viva (Coimbra, Portugal), Happening New Music Festival (Calgary), Rien à voir, Akousma (Montréal), MusiMars (Montréal), San Francisco Tape Music Festival (USA), Festival Encuentros (Argentina), Jornadas de Música Electroacústica (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain), Semana de Música Contemporánea (Cuenca, Ecuador), Earplay (San Francisco, USA), Discoveries (Aberdeen, UK), Cutting Edge (London, UK), and SAN Expo (Manchester, UK). His music has been broadcasted on CBC, Radio-Canada, Radio France, Polskie Radio (Poland), Japanese Broadcasting Corporation (NHK, Japan), and Radio Nacional de España (RNE, Spain).
Laurie Radford’s music has received awards from the SOCAN Foundation Awards for Young Composers (Canada), Kazimierz Serocki International Composers’ Competition (Warsaw, Poland), and Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra’s New Music Festival Composers’ Competition (Canada).
He is the recipient of numerous SOCAN Foundation’s Composer Outreach Residencies grants and has been supported in his work by the Canada Council for the Arts, Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, Manitoba Arts Council, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and Association française pour les actions artistiques.
Laurie Radford has taught electroacoustic music and composition at Concordia University (Montréal), Bishop’s University (Lennoxville), McGill University (Montréal), the University of Alberta (Edmonton), Domaine Forget (Saint-Irénée), and City University (London, UK).
