I wanted to journey in a landscape with no horizon, stripped of space… to walk in it searching for arid elements, a raw music. k.krrkphsssPOW < paysage begins in a monophonic, closed space, and moves forward to reveal a space that is open. The piece takes the form of a long crescendo based on many parameters: progressive widening of the space; increase of intensity; and expansion of depth (near and far). While conserving a morphology that is grainy, imperfect and noisy, these elements also evolve in a crescendo. From machine-like sounds that are treated by computer will be emerging landscape of exterior sound sources.
