Composed at the studio of Ionian University (Corfu, Greece), and the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio of Musiques & Recherches in Ohain (Belgium). The piece was commissioned by Musiques & Recherches. Many thanks to Esther Lamneck, Andreas Mniestris, and Giorgos Stavridis for the clarinet, saxophone and percussion samples, and to Terry Vakirtzoglou, Giorgos Mizithras and Olga Vasiou for their voices. Portrait d’une manifestante was a finalist at the 9th Biennial Acousmatic Composition Competition Métamorphoses (Brussels, Belgium, 2016).
