To Kasper T Toeplitz

This performance, like a stroll, is a ballad. A shared wandering, an invitation to follow the thread of my thoughts, as a flâneur. But also, a certain mindset, like a dream.

… improbable, and yet…

Each performance, with the same departure point, is unique however. It blooms, exploratory, like a tale in which the storyteller follows the story that emerges, and resists the temptation to simplify it.

Let us see together where it will lead us.

The piece is dedicated to Kasper, for the slowness of his inspiring telluric music, both restrained and gigantic, and for the numerous discussions through the years.
